8 Remarkable Years: Celebrating the Journey of Addis Fine Art
As we commemorate the 8th anniversary of Addis Fine Art, we want to take a moment to look back at our tremendous journey. We are more than just an art gallery – we are a platform for championing Ethiopian and African artists on a global scale.
Recently, our journey was featured by leading Ethiopian Business and Lifestyle Magazine, Tadiasmag.com. This featured article serves as a testament to our continual commitment and pivotal role in the fostering and promotion of African art.
Established in 2016, Addis Fine Art emerged from a profound desire to project the rich and diverse artistic history of Ethiopia and similar regions on the international stage. In its pursuit, the gallery stands tall today, widely acknowledged as a significant influencer and contributor to the contemporary African art market.
Championing African Artists
Our art gallery hosts locations in two cultural hotspots – Addis Ababa and London. Both places resonate with their unique art scenes and offer the perfect platform for showcasing our select array of artworks. Over the years, our gallery has served as a beacon of African art, shedding light on some truly undiscovered talents.
Tadias Magazine aptly captures our gallery’s significance by writing: "Over the years, Addis Fine Art has played a pivotal role in championing African artists on the global stage." Such recognition mirrors our efforts in propelling African art and artists to the forefront.
We are not just an art gallery; we also see ourselves as a regional incubator for emerging talents. At our Addis Ababa location, we provide aspiring artists with the platform to exhibit and nurture their careers, thus contributing to the enrichment of the regional art eco-system.
